THE REASONS OF AN ART COMPETITION

Who lives at the Hotel La Fenice et des Artistes enters in a lively and actual collection realized by people keen on art, who have the pleasure to buy works they like and the wish that the hotel's guests will appreciate it.

The paintings and the sculptures are disposed in the rooms like in a private house and the guest has the sensation that the works belong to him. This sensation is confirmed by the written dedications of the artist who comes here; the privacy, the pleasure to live in your own room surrounded by works that you can often see only in the museums.

This is the dominant reason of the hotel's guests book. The collection has grown thanks to the art passion of the owners and has found a new impulse with the idea of this competition, that every year gives the possibility to enrich the collection with new paintings and sculptures, and to establish new relationships with the artists.

During the manifestation that takes place on the second week of december the artists meet together for three days in the hotel and in this occasion new initiatives and new collaborations are created, and everybody breathes an air of great feast and friendship.
